The Story Behind the Letters
The Story Behind the Letters
A few years ago, I created mystery letters for a Kickstarter campaign, and the response was amazing. Readers loved them.
They told me how much they enjoyed the experience of receiving physical letters in the mail. Those letters brought them joy, and I've wanted to create more ever since.
A story told through letters also let me combine visual elements—custom illustrations and elegant designs—with the story itself. It's a richer reading experience than words on a page alone.
You get a beautiful, collectible mystery told through letters that arrives in your mailbox twice a month.
It's a creative challenge for me, and a unique reading experience for you!

The Story in the Letters: Meet Lady Eileen and Fitzhugh
Lady Eileen is a young war widow navigating life after losing her beloved husband Harry. Rather than retreating into mourning, she finds herself drawn into mysteries—partly by circumstance, partly by her keen observational skills honed during her hospital work in the Great War.
She's clever without being showy about it, compassionate but not naïve, and possesses those particularly British qualities of remaining unflappable and keeping a stiff upper lip—even when stumbling across a body.
Fitzhugh, her chauffeur, is observant, loyal, discreet, and has an uncanny ability to be exactly where he's needed.

Meet the Author Behind the Letters
USA Today bestselling mystery author Sara Rosett has written over 30 novels. She launched her first set of mystery letters in a Kickstarter campaign in 2022.
They were so popular she's created a brand new expanded mystery letter collection with full-color custom illustrations.
Reviews of Sara's Books
The period details—clothes, language, attitudes—are spot-on. This is a fast, clever, and thoroughly delightful light historical.
—Publishers Weekly
Readers will enjoy the posh settings, delicious detail, and the light handling of intrigue and betrayal.
—Historical Novel Review
A divine dose of murder and mayhem in 1920s London. This book is loads of fun and a must-read for historical mystery fans. Disappearances in the middle of the night, alter egos, dangerous addictions, and wild parties make for a totally ripping good time and a terrific story.
